Exploring Geometric Art

Updated: Feb 16

In October 2025, I had the pleasure of giving a live geometric art demo at FALC - Fine Arts League of Cupertino, sharing my process of building geometric patterns from simple foundational grids. We spoke about recurring shapes, tools, tips on different applications and materials and how geometry's precision makes for a deeply meditative practice. Later, on January of 2026, I presented a similar demo for the Sunnyvale Art Club. We explored how structure becomes a framework for expression. In both spaces, I guided the group in completing the drawing of a perfect 12-pointed star from the Flower of Life grid. The conversations that followed were just as meaningful as the demo itself—artists connecting over process, patience, and the quiet intensity of geometric work.

I’m excited to continue these conversations with EVA - East Valley Artists in an upcoming geometric art demo in April 2026. My focus is to simplify complex pattern-building into accessible steps, while honoring the discipline it requires. I look forward to sharing new techniques, insights, and the evolving dialogue between precision and expression that resides within the practice of geometric art.
