I'm excited to share that my artwork "California Grown" has been selected for A Taste of Santa Clara, a community book celebrating local stories, artwork, and recipes.
This piece has had a special journey. It was also included in the 2024 juried exhibition What's Cookin' at the Palo Alto Art Center, and I'm grateful to see it find another home in a project that celebrates the creativity and diversity of our community.

California Grown
14 x 11 inches
Mixed media on paper
The piece is a hand-drawn biomorphic mandala and symmetrical wreath inspired by some of California's best fruit—kiss melons, cherries, figs, and peaches. Built on a geometric grid, it was created using watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, and gold ink.
Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this book together. I can't wait to see the finished book and hold a printed copy in my hands!
